Excerpts from Mom's email:
Hey Mom!
My week went pretty quick, but it was a good one. Yeah I am going to miss Elder Hamilton a lot for sure. He is like a brother to me. It has been weird for the last couple weeks, because it has been as if there has been a count down for when he leaves and it has had me thinking about home. Makes me realize how fast a mission goes. Elder Hamilton I think is excited and at the same time it doesn't quite feel real yet. It will be weird without him around. It really has felt like I have known him for ages. Elder Danielsen-Jensen is doing really well still. He is a great missionary and we get along really well. No word on his visa, yet so he may or may not be here for a while.
The work has been going about the same as last week. Still going, but still needs work as well. We cover many many areas, so many I could not list them all. If you look it up we cover from Taparoo to Fullham Gardens, South Australia. There was a many miracles that I had the opportunity to experience this week. On the 18th, the rain was coming down hard! Very hard and the worst part was that we have been running out of Ks so we have to use the bikes. In the morning we walk out and we see how hard it was raining. So I turn to my companions somewhat jokingly and ask "How strong is your faith? Strong enough to command the rain to stop?" We then decided to show our faith. Elder Danielsen-Jensen offered up an amazing prayer and in that prayer, he asked God for the rain to cease. At that very moment, in the exact instance he said that, the rain stopped very sudden. Elder Hamilton and I admittedly opened our eyes and looked at each other in shock, but soon as we did that it began to pore down again. So Elder Danielsen-Jensen asked again for the rain to cease and again, the rain stopped suddenly. We closed the prayer and were in amazement. Throughout the rest of the day, the only time it rained was when we were inside. It seemed as if every time we stepped outside for the rest of the day, the rain just stopped. Then when we walked inside, the rain started up again. Some may say that all of this was a coincidence, but I know for a fact that it wasn't. God is a God of miracles. We put our faith in him even for something so simple as asking for the rain to stop so we may contact people on the streets and to continue the work. You can tell from the story that even we were in shock to see a miracle like this. This has grown my testimony even further and I know that God is watching over us and that he does care, even about the little things. A general authority asked us "Are you experiencing miracles every day on your mission?" I am so blessed for the chance to experience miracles as often as I do. To be able to serve the Lord and to see his power and the power behind this gospel. I wish I could share more with you and share all of the miracles with you, but since I can't I will encourage you to go and experience them for yourself.
Love you so much Mom!

Excerpts from Dad's email:
Hey Dad!
Yeah I am doing pretty good at the moment. Elder Hamilton leaves Thursday morning so yeah very soon. Only a few days left! Yeah we get along like brothers. Love the guy so much and I sure will miss him. Hopefully I don't cry saying goodbye lol. Yeah I have heard that the district leader position will fall to me now, but not confirmed until later this week. So we will see what happens. I have already done of few things like gave training's and things like that since Elder Hamilton gave me the opportunity to try everything and learn how to do it while he is here.
Have to many stories again to share so I will tell you of one of my cool highlights. A few days ago I went on trade offs with the Zone leaders, Elder Layetele and Elder Arwang. It was a very fun and interesting day and a good learning experience. What made it so funny though was the few weird things that happened. We were just going about normal door knocking when we see this husky. No owner, no leash, nothing. Just this huge husky. Of coarse you know I love dogs and that is actually my favorite kind of dog so I call him over to pet him. So after that, I guess I made a new friend because we went to continue knocking doors and this dog just follows us to the door. Definitely was a good conversation started! So good that I feel like we should have missionary dogs haha. I can see why we don't though because there was a big dog behind one of the doors that went berserk and messed up the contact. Door knocking with a husky:).... Was interesting. We also did a ton of split street contacting which means we go to a place were there is a large flow of people and just split up and talk to everyone. It's fun and a bit weird and the same time just walking up on your own while people are walking and try to start of a conversation. You get a few looks and some choice words on occasion but we in an hour found 7 potentials and passed out heaps of cards getting the word out.
Hope it was a good week for you guys as well!
Love you pops!
